A Squidoo Lens
This "Squidoo Lens" shows examples of digital illustration with brief explanations of how they were made and the tools used. It debunks some myths (the art is "computer-generated") and links to some of the top illustrators using digital tools.

Some digital art work is fully painted using brush tools, pen tools and such, others afford a unique opportunity to combine computer imagery (3D modeling for instance) and a myriad of tools and techniques available. Follow the links to find out more.
